J. M. Liles Solo Exhibit

Trigger Warning is an unflinching confrontation of the forces that try to control, silence, and erase. Through a series of paintings, sculptures, and installations, this exhibit lays bare the violent contradictions of indoctrination, the suffocating grip of bigotry, and the deeply rooted systems of misogyny and body-based discrimination that police who gets to exist freely.

Born queer in a world demanding conformity, the artist reclaims autonomy through fearless self-expression—deconstructing religious dogma, dismantling societal shame, and rejecting fear imposed on the body and identity. Trigger Warning is both a battle cry and a reckoning: a space where the personal and political collide, where the myth of purity is shattered, and freedom is seized with teeth bared.
