Call for Art: PROOF OF LIFE

In a time when LGBTQ+ history, community, and achievements are under attack, we need to make one thing clear: We are here. We are alive. And we are not going anywhere.

Artists Josh Kelly & Andrew Bertke are creating Proof of Life, a massive photo collage forming the Progress Pride Flag—built entirely from selfies of LGBTQ+ people around the world. This will be a powerful, large-scale mural displayed as a solo exhibition at Umbra Arts during Pride in Minneapolis.

We need you. Your face. Your proof of life.

How to Participate:

📸 Take a selfie with a solid background (this will be edited to form the colors of the flag).
💡 Use good lighting—natural light outside or a well-lit space like a bathroom works best.
🌍 All LGBTQ+ people, from anywhere in the world, are welcome!

This is more than a piece of art. It’s resistance. It’s visibility. It’s us—standing together, one selfie at a time.
