October 9th: Collaging with Layers: Learning how to tell a story through collage

Opens up exploration into narrative, texture, memory, and metaphor. How do you utilize layers to hold memory and tell a story? Participants are encouraged to have a memory or story they want to tell/explore prior to class. Working off a single sheet, participants will build layers on paper to explore how to tell a story with collage through still images. Participants will leave the class with a single sheet that tells a story through layers. (First 30 minutes = diving into what the goal of the class is based on examples of work, 1hr = work time on project, last 30 minutes = sharing works made)
