In The Unraveling: What the Body Can Not Hold, sculptor and multimedia artist Jackalope of all Trades conjures a world of quiet monstrosity, grief, and transformation. Using bone, velvet, yarn, pearls, hair, and remnants of the natural world, they build spectral figures that feel unearthed rather than created — reliquaries for emotions too large to speak.

Each sculpture is a vessel: for ache, for silence, for the memories our bodies inherit and cannot contain. Combining elements of fiber art, anatomical fantasy, and ritual object-making, Von Hulsing invites viewers into a liminal space where mourning takes shape and softness becomes an act of defiance.
